This week the Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 cash for clues called in to 74-CRIME that will help solve the attempted burglary of the Joelton Prescription Shop that occurred in Joelton.

                                               

            On Sunday, April 10th, 2011 at approximately 4:50 am, someone attempted to break into the Joelton Prescription Shop located at 7164 Whites Creek Pike.  The suspect got out of a light colored 4-door car with a bag and what appears to be an axe.  This suspect is seen on surveillance video hitting the glass entrance door several times, smashing the glass.  The suspect did not get into the building and left in the same vehicle, driving on Union Hill Road toward Whites Creek Pike.

 

            We are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the vehicle and any suspect(s), who were involved with this attempted burglary.  There is someone out there who knows who did this, and they need to share that information with Crime Stoppers.  Anyone who knows who the suspect(s) are, are urged to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers.

This week the Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash for clues called in to 74-CRIME that will help solve the murder of Ronquez Bigsby that occurred in East Nashville last year.

           

            On Wednesday, August 10th, 2010 at approximately 1:45 am, the Metro Police Department received a shots fired call in the James Cayce Housing Development on South 8th Street.  The responding officers went to the area of 722 South 8th Street and Ronquez was located near a van that was parked on the side of the road.  He was transported to the hospital and was pronounced deceased at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

 

            Ronquez was walking toward Kirkpatrick Park when he was approached by one or more suspects.  There was an argument between them yet it is unknown what lead up to that argument or what the argument was about.  Shortly thereafter, Ronquez was shot multiple times and he ran down the street before collapsing on South 8th Street.

 

            We are requesting assistance from the public in identifying any suspect(s) who were involved with this murder.  There is someone out there who knows who committed this murder, and they need to share that information with Crime Stoppers so that these suspect(s) do not end up hurting someone else.  Anyone who knows who the suspects are, are urged to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers.

This week the Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash for clues called in to 74-CRIME that will help solve the murder of Darius Hamilton in the Bordeaux part of Nashville.

            On Monday, September 20th, 2010 at approximately 4:20 am, the Metro Police Department received a shots fired call in the Queens Lane area.  The responding officers went to 116 Queens Lane to investigate this call and found the victim deceased in the driveway.  Information was received that a gray sedan was seen in the neighborhood at the time of the shooting.

            Earlier in the morning, the victim left Silverado’s, on Murfreesboro Road, in a blue Chevy Tahoe.  He stopped at the Waffle House at Murfreesboro and I-24.  He then went to the Exxon at Dickerson Road and Maplewood before returning to his home on Queens Lane.

            We are requesting assistance from the public in identifying any suspects who were involved with this murder.  There is someone out there who knows who committed this murder, and they need to share that information with Crime Stoppers so that these suspects do not end up hurting someone else.  Anyone who knows who the suspects are, are urged to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers.

THIS WEEK NASHVILLE CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $1000 CASH FOR CLUES CALLED IN TO 74-CRIME THAT WILL HELP SOLVE THE ROBBERY OF THE SHELL STATION AT 1331 BRIARVILLE ROAD AND OF THE DOLLAR GENERAL STORE AT 3852 DICKERSON PIKE.

            ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 23, 2011 AT APPROXIMATELY 6:24 PM, AN UNKNOWN MALE BLACK ENTERED THE DOLLAR GENERAL STORE AND WALKED TO THE BACK OF THE STORE.  THIS SUSPECT DEMANDED AT GUN POINT THAT AN EMPLOYEE LET HIM INTO THE SAFE.  WHEN THE EMPLOYEE TOLD HIM THAT THEY DIDN’T HAVE ACCESS TO THE SAFE, THE SUSPECT ESCORTED THE EMPLOYEE TO THE FRONT OF THE STORE.  THE SUSPECT THEN ATTEMPTED TO ROB BOTH CASHIERS AND THEN ROBBED CUSTOMERS WHILE WAITING IN LINE TO CHECK OUT.  THE SUSPECT THEN LEFT THE STORE ON FOOT.

            THIS SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS A MALE BLACK, ABOUT 20 YEARS OLD, 5’9”, 140LBS.  HE LOOKED LIKE HE HAD A BABY FACE, AS IF HE NEVER HAD TO SHAVE, AND HE SOUNDED LIKE HE HAD A BABY VOICE. 

            APPROXIMATELY 12 MINUTES LATER A MALE BLACK IN HIS 20’S, ABOUT 5’4” ENTERED THE SHELL STATION AT 1331 BRIARVILLE ROAD.  HE SHOWED A BLACK HANDGUN TO THE CLERK AND DEMANDED MONEY FROM THE SAFE.  THE CLERK COULDN’T GET INTO THE SAFE AND THE SUSPECT DEMANDED MONEY FROM THE REGISTER.  THE SUSPECT TOOK THE MONEY AND FLED ON FOOT.  HE WAS LAST SEEN CROSSING SOUTH GRAYCROFT AVENUE.

            WE ARE REQUESTING ASSISTANCE FROM THE PUBLIC IN IDENTIFYING THESE TWO SUSPECTS WHO WERE INVOLVED WITH THESE ROBBERIES AS THEY MAY ALSO BE INVOLVED IN OTHERS.  THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO RECOGNIZES THESE SUSPECTS, AND THEY NEED TO SHARE THAT INFORMATION WITH CRIME STOPPERS SO THAT THESE SUSPECTS DO NOT END UP HURTING SOMEONE.  ANYONE WHO RECOGNIZES THESE SUSPECTS ARE URGED TO CONTACT THE NASHVILLE CRIME STOPPERS.

            ON SATURDAY, 01/08/11 AT APPROXIMATELY 3:00 PM, AN UNKNOWN MALE WHITE ENTERED THE BUSINESS AND WENT TO THE BEER COOLER.  HE WENT TO THE CLERK TO PAY FOR THE BEER BUT HE HAD HIS RIGHT HAND UNDER HIS SWEATSHIRT, AS IF HE HAD A HANDGUN.  THIS SUSPECT DEMANDED THAT THE CLERK HAND OVER THE MONEY OR HE WOULD KILL THEM.  THE CLERK GAVE THE MONEY TO THE SUSPECT AND HE RAN OUT THE DOOR.  THE SUSPECT MAY HAVE LEFT IN A BLACK VEHICLE AND WAS LAST SEEN HEADING TOWARD GREEN HILLS ON WOODMONT. 

            THIS SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS BEING A MALE WHITE IN HIS 40’S, WHO HAD A MUSTACHE, AND WAS WEARING A GREEN HOODIE SWEATSHIRT, BIG GREEN SKI GLOVES, AND SUNGLASSES.

THIS WEEK NASHVILLE CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $1000 CASH FOR CLUES CALLED IN TO 74-CRIME THAT WILL HELP SOLVE THE STRING OF THREE BANK ROBBERIES THAT HAVE OCCURRED IN THE NASHVILLE AREA, TWO WERE AT THE SAME BANK.

                ON THE MORNING OF MONDAY, DECEMBER 6TH, THE SUSPECT APPROACHED A TELLER AT THE SUNTRUST BANK, AT 530 MURFREESBORO PIKE, AND IMPLIED THAT HE HAD A WEAPON.  HE FLED ON FOOT WITH AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF CASH.  SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS A MALE WHITE, IN HIS 40’S WITH BROWN HAIR AND A MUSTACHE.  HE IS APPROXIMATELY 5’11” TALL AND ABOUT 170LBS.  IN THIS ROBBERY HE HAD A GREEN T-SHIRT, WITH ACE BUILDING COMPANY WRITTEN ON THE FRONT OVER A DARK HOODED SWEATSHIRT, BLUE JEANS, AND A RED AND BLACK BALL CAP WITH THE NUMBER 8 ON THE FRONT. 

                ON THURSDAY MORNING, DECEMBER 16TH, THE SUSPECT WHO IS BELIEVED TO HAVE ROBBED THE SAME BANK ABOVE ON DECEMBER 6TH, DECIDED TO ROB IT AGAIN.  HE AGAIN APPROACHED THE TELLER AND INDICATED THAT HE HAD A WEAPON.  THIS TIME HE WAS DESCRIBED AS BEING IN HIS LATE 30’S OR 40’S, SAME HEIGHT AND WEIGHT.  THIS TIME HE HAD A BROWN COAT, BLUE JEANS AND A BLACK COWBOY HAT.

                THE NEXT DAY, ON DECEMBER 17TH, THIS SAME SUSPECT ROBBED THE REGIONS BANK AT 2409 LEBANON PIKE.  HE AGAIN WENT TO THE TELLER AND MADE THEM THINK HE HAD A WEAPON.  THE DESCRIPTION GIVEN IN THIS ROBBERY INDICATES HE MAY BE IN HIS LATE 40’S OR EARLY 50’S WITH LONG GRAYING BROWN HAIR, THAT WAS IN A PONYTAIL AND HE HAD A BEARD.  HE WAS WEARING A BLACK JACKET WITH AN ORANGE ‘T’ ON THE FRONT AND A RED BALL CAP.

                IT APPEARS THAT THE SAME SUSPECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THREE BANK ROBBERIES.

            ON FRIDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 5TH, RADNOR LIQUORS ON TROUSDALE DRIVE WAS ROBBED BY A MASKED SUSPECT.  ON SATURDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 13TH, BORDEAUX LIQUORS ON CLARKSVILLE PIKE WAS ALSO ROBBED.  LIQUORS, INC., ON OLD HICKORY BOULEVARD IN SOUTH NASHVILLE, WAS ROBBED ON FRIDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 19TH.  IT APPEARS THAT THE SAME GUNMAN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THREE LIQUOR STORE ROBBERIES.

 

THE SURVEILLANCE PICTURES FROM ONE OF THE LIQUOR STORES SHOWS TWO WOMEN ENTERING THE BORDEAUX LIQUOR STORE JUST BEFORE THE SUSPECT.  ONE OF THESE WOMEN LEAVES WHILE THE ROBBERY IS OCCURRING AND THE OTHER WOMAN LEAVES JUST AFTER THE SUSPECT LEAVES.  AT THIS TIME, IT HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED IF THE WOMEN ARE ACCOMPLICES WITH THE GUNMAN.

THIS WEEK NASHVILLE CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $1000 CASH FOR CLUES CALLED IN TO 74-CRIME THAT HELP SOLVE THE MURDER OF 52 YEAR OLD THOMAS TURNER III.

 

ON TUESDAY, JULY 28TH, 2009, AT APPROXIMATELY 1:00 P.M. THOMAS TURNER III WAS FOUND DECEASED IN A HOTEL ROOM OF INTOWN SUITES WHICH IS LOCATED AT 1621 BELL ROAD.  TURNER HAD BEEN LIVING THERE AND MAKING SOME EXTRA MONEY BY WORKING ON AND FIXING PEOPLES COMPUTERS.  HE DID HAVE A DRUG ADDICTION AND SOLD SOME DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.   ROBBERY DID NOT APPEAR TO BE A MOTIVE AS THERE WERE VALUABLE ITEMS LEFT BEHIND.  THERE WAS NO FORCED ENTRY TO THE ROOM SO POLICE THINK THAT TURNER MAY HAVE KNOWN THE PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR MURDERING HIM.

THIS WEEK NASHVILLE CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $1000 CASH FOR CLUES CALLED IN TO 74-CRIME THAT HELP SOLVE THE MURDER OF 32 YEAR OLD SALVADOR AMADOR-MONTES OF SOUTH NASHVILLE.

 

ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3RD, 2010, AT APPROXIMATELY 3:00 IN THE MORNING, SALVADOR AMADOR-MONTES WAS LEAVING THE SAN JOSE BAR & GRILL, 99 WALLACE ROAD.  SALVADOR HAD BEEN DRINKING HEAVILY EARLIER IN THE MORNING AND LEFT ALMOST THE SAME TIME AS SEVERAL OTHER PATRONS.  HE LEFT WALKING DOWN WALLACE ROAD WHEN HE WAS SHOT BY AN UNKNOWN SUBECT(S).  A PERSON SAW SALVADOR IN THE DRIVEWAY OF A HOUSE ON WALLACE ROAD AND NOTIFIED POLICE.  UPON POLICE ARRIVAL, SALVADOR WAS FOUND DECEASED.  THE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE FROM THE BAR SHOWED NO CONFRONTATIONS BETWEEN THE VICTIM AND ANY OTHER PATRONS.

8/17/2010 - Murder of Angela Stovall

 

            THIS WEEK NASHVILLE CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $1000 CASH FOR CLUES CALLED IN TO 74-CRIME THAT HELP SOLVE THE MURDER OF 32 YEAR OLD ANGELA STOVALL IN NORTH NASHVILLE.

 

ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2009 AT APPROXIMATELY 8:30 IN THE MORNING, A MAN ARRIVED AT 1814 15TH AVE. NORTH TO DO SOME REMODELING WORK.  HE WALKED AROUND TO THE BACK OF THE HOUSE AND LOOKED INTO THE OPEN STAIRWAY THAT LED UNDER THE HOME.  HE SAW A PERSON LYING ON THE GROUND AND WHEN IT DIDN’T MOVE OR RESPOND, HE CALLED 911. OFFICERS SOON ARRIVED AND DISCOVERED THAT THE PERSON HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN MURDERED.  DETECTIVES ARRIVED AND BEGAN THEIR INVESTIGATION. THEY SOON IDENTIFIED THE PERSON AS ANGELA STOVALL WHO WAS WELL KNOWN IN THE AREA.  UNFORTUNATLY ANGIE HAD FALLEN INTO A LIFE OF DRUGS AND TURNED TO PROSTITUTION TO FEED HER ADDITION. DETECTIVES ARE INVESTIGATING THE POSSIBILITY THAT THIS IS WHAT LED TO HER DEATH.

 

ANGIE WAS A 32 YEAR OLD FEMALE BLACK ABOUT FIVE FEET SEVEN INCHES TALL AND AROUND 130 POUNDS. AT THE TIME OF HER DEATH SHE WAS WEARING A BLUE JACKET, GREEN CAPRI STYLE PANTS, AND WHITE TENNIS SHOES WITH BLUE AND PINK TRIM.

 

NORTH PRECINCT DETECTIVES WOULD LIKE ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT WHO KILLED ANGIE STOVALL TO CALL CRIME STOPPERS AND SHARE WHAT THEY KNOW.
